Visited for the first time on Mothers day. Not even a single daffodil on any of the tables. Very austere ambiance indeed. Service was quite OK but when the food arrived...gravy dripping off the edge of a small plate, got it all over my hand, good choice of veg but cooked to a mushy mess, roast beef appeared reconstituted, all this for around £14.00 for two courses!! When we refused to eat or pay for the food the landlord literally started shouting the odds and threatend to call the police. Needless to say we won't be going back!!
