Good Points: Good location in centre of pleasant market town. Friendly staff. Good food and bar. Bad Points: Shower mixer poor temperature control. Some noise from adjacent room and guests. General review: Pleasant.

Good Points: Staff were excellent and friendly. My wife and my son were made very welcome and felt very much at home. Food was excellent. Service too was excellent. General review: Very good. Hotel in excellent central position to discover Uppingham. Nice Garden. Great Staff.

and well located Bad Points: nothing General Review: A short stay in a very nice location. The weather could have been better but can't blame the hotel for that. Nice to visit a traditional English hotel

General Review: The general standard of our accomadation was poor. The curtains were filthy, the towels hard and grey, the garden was overgrown and the pation furniture appaling
