I've been meaning to write this review for a while as every time I walk past I feel annoyed about my night here. A few of us went for so called "dinner" for a friends birthday and we decided to order up some main platters to share tapas style. Sharing plates for 2 arrived and they weren't really for sharing (unless you like cutting every tiny morsal in half). It was fairly random, some of the items had 2 of each, others only 1, and considering the portions that didn't leave much to fight over. Another gripe was that everything on the plate was some deep fat fried packet food - I wouldn't eat that at home, let alone go out and pay for it. The lady servicing us was lovely but couldn't or didn't know what to do when qestioned about it. However a useless manager hovered around in the background not offering up any advice or help just leaving the poor girl to try and make amends - but with no guidence from her manager it meant some uncomfortable conversations. We left it as it was my friends birthday and didn't want to spoil the evening but have vowed to never step foot in this place again - and we're local. If you like eating your own arm then I suggest this place, otherwise avoid, avoid, avoid.

It may be a nice place with a cute courtyard but that is where the goodness ends. We went there for breakfast, and were really looking forward to it. When we got there we were asked immdediately what we wanted, we weren't even all sitting down yet! We were then told that there is only a buffet breakfast on a Sunday which was disappointing but fair enough. The buffet would have been better placed in a run down b&b on the coast. The scrambled eggs were completely overdone, the sausages werent cooked through and were as hard as bullets, the only saving grace were the gloriously well cooked tomatoes. As there were four of us, we asked for some toast and got 2 slices of white. When we asked for some more we were ignored then finally greated with a blank 'I couldnt give a damn' look. When we asked for the bill, we were stared at, then ignored while the unsavoury waitress carried on chucking cutlery on the other tables. When we asked again, she, under duress, went over to get the bill. They had the cheek to charge £4.75 for my 4 year old nephew who had eated a piece of bacon and half a hash brown! To say the 'service' was sloppy would be a ridiculous understatment. The owner was also as sarcastic, they really are trading on, I suspect, the good name they may have received several years ago but what they need to do is have a rocket up their back sides and remember who keeps this shambles afloat. A thoroughly underwhelming and uncomfortable experience. I shall never go there again!
