Very disappointed. I go there quite often for dinner but Christmas day was awful. I paid £107 for 2 dinners, 2 glasses of wine and 2 orange juices. We sat downstairs. The waitor was very good, all we heard him say to everyone was "sorry, sorry". The 2 waitresses were appalling. Pate and toast to start - toast cold and butter solid. We did not recieve our sorbet between courses (they forgot to serve it). We had no spoon to eat desert with (they forgot to bring it and it took ages to catch their eye to ask for it). We ordered water which was never served. Cheese and biscuits arrived but no knife to spread the (again) brick hard butter. Ages before we got their attention. The yorkshires were thick and heavy. Roast potatoes were cold. I left a tip of £10 for the waiter as he was the only one who appeared to know what he was doing and I felt sorry for him. Won't be going back there anytime soon.
