Myself and my 11 year old daughter stayed at the original white heart for 3 nights from 12th Dec 08. Everything about this visit was fantastic. We stayed in room 6, which had just been refurbished to a very good standard. The decor was modern, the bed and pillows very comfy, bed linen very good quality, modern bathroom with good facilities, tea/coffee facilities in room and great tv with a good reception. The manager and his wife were very friendly and gave great service as did the rest of the staff we came accross. Breakfast was very good and we had sunday roast which was good! Lovely surroundings, olde worlde atmosphere and open fires, just perfect!! The cost was reasonable, better than other hotles I ahve stayed in Ringwood and the location very central, just around the corner from the bus station. Found it a very good stay, great value, good service and would definately stay there again. The owner phoned me to say that a silver bracelet was found in our room and he very kindly posted it back to me.

Just returned having spent two nights here for our 9th Wedding anniversary. Excellent location, nice Olde Worlde feel, staff very friendly and helpful. Not a great deal to do in Ringwood itself but ideal for trips into the New Forest and surrounding area. Would definitely go back, good value for money, although found all pubs quite pricey for beer, would expect local brews to be cheaper.
