I FOUND IT A GREAT PLACE THE SAFE WERE FRIENDLY, HELPFUL I AM DISABLED AND THEY COULD NOT DO ENOUGH TO SEE I WAS OK. THE FOOD WAS PERFECT THE COLA RIBS WERE TO DIE FOR AND THE LAMB SHANK WAS SO TENDER I AM FROM GATESHEAD BUT I AN GOING BACK TO GOSPORT IN AUG AND I WILL BE GOING BACK TO THE BARLEY MOW,

After many years of progressively getting filthier, more expensive, dirtier, poorer service, grubbier, smellier and generally gaining the most horrendous reputation for drug misuse in the area you will be left totally speechless opon entering the Barley Mow. Totally cleaned, refurbished and made over the Barley Mow is now a bright modern pub with a fantastic new crowd of regulars. In addition to the bar there is a lounge area with modern leather sofas and a low coffee table, a dining area and a pool/darts area. The everyday menu offers a good range at very competitive pricing (The fishcakes and cola ribs are fantastic!) There is also an all day breakfast menu for Saturday and Sunday lunches are only £5.95 for 2 courses! If you are ever in the area I suggest you give it a try, if you are not in the area I suggest a drive out!
