John & I have taken over as the new owners as from 9th August. We have introduced new menus ideas which offer great taste and value for money. We offer Lite Bites and Snacks 12:00-14:30 weekdays, and Evening meals from 18:00-21:00 weekdays. We also cater for our younger diners who have their own childrens menu. We are open ALL DAY Saturday serving food from 12:00-21:00 and our Sunday Roasts are served from 12:00-21:00 Have a tea/coffee in our Chill-out Zone and hook-up using our WIFI connection. Business Lunches can be pre-ordered by phone, and we also have a Skittle Alley which doubles as a function area for your private party. For more details, please visit our website www.pheasantcountrypub.com we look forward to your visit soon! The Pheasant - We believe in providing quality, unpretentious foods packed with flavour and served with a smile!

Service was poor - staff seemed disorganised and unable to cope with a large group. Food was very pricey for what you actually got. The menu was unclear what you were getting and so extra veg etc needed to be ordered. Dessert was poor - ordered mousse which came out rock hard and still frozen. Attitude of certain staff was appalling when we asked for things to be put right. Wouldn't have minded so much if the cost of the meal had been reflected the quality - it didn't.

First visit to The Pheasant and Sunday Lunch there was excellent. Friendly and helpful staff and everywhere was spotlessly clean. In the garden tables were well spaced out and for those with young children it's a well enclosed space with a slide and swings at one end. Will make another visit there just as soon as we can.
