I would just like to add that I have been to this pub for several visits since the new ownership of management and I am highly impressed with the food that has been delivered to me, from cheesy chips to steak. Their home made burgers are to die for and the service is always friendly. I am a local but have taken many people there that I know that are not local and they have always delivered. The only downfall is they are not open on 'Mondays'! Do not knock it til you have tried it?

While travelling, dropped in for a pint and was warmly welcomed by mine hosts Rick & Rose, and of course not forgetting their Cocker Spaniel 'Norman'. Very friendly atmosphere and was pleasantly suprised when one of the locals offered and gave me a lift to my next location and saved me a taxi fare. Thanks guys. A. Brown
