Great pub. New landlord is very nice, professional, friendly, has a good beer and wine selection. Food was lovely and well presented, service with a smile. The landlord is making a great effert to convert this once run down pub back to a central hub for the village, well done and keep up the good work. We look forward to going back again soon.

WOW, WOW, WOW. This pub has been going down hill for a long time, but as we are locals we still support it, as you never want to lose you local, which is happening more & more across the country. We went to the open night on Friday 30th October and the new owners have done a brillant job of making it much brighter, nicer & comfortable place to enjoy a drink or two. I have not seen the food as of yet, but if the rest of the pub outlook is anything to go by then it will be just as good. Well done, future visits will now be a joy.

What a dissapointment, it was pretty awful some time ago when the permanently drunk woman ran it but I have to admit it has got even worse.. The ale`s taste off or on there way the landlord is incapable of speaking at an audible level and the food is a joke! apart from that its ok....

The menu was average, and the food tasted less than average. Shame really because it is a nice looking pub. But as they say don' jusge a book by its cover! The service was ok on the bar but waiting upon was poor. Not going back anytime soon
