Had an excellent meal here. The staff are very efficient and helpful. Very crowded as it was bank holiday Sunday but service was good.

This pub has been great ever since we moved into the area - great food, offered at reasonable prices by Tim and Sharon, who have been working all hours for the last few months, and who cannot do enough for the pub punter. The pub is not supported by all the regulars that could do, and tonight I learn we are to lose Tim and Sharon, who have tried so hard to make a go of it. This is a real shame, especially for such an historic pub, and the locals who never visit should be ashamed for not supporting them. Let's hope the pub stays open, and that Tim and Sharon find somewhere where they are appreciated.
