well for those above,I totally disagree. i have been visiting the bulls head for many years and being taken over since early sept '08 i have noticed that Pub Has becomeVery clean, Happy and welcoming. The Atmosphere was great and recently the pubs interior has been decorated and Having spoken to management the extrior is soon decorated for the warm delightful summer ahead....Happy to give this review and hope that it changes the opinions of those who have read the above quotation. I am upset to hear such bad news of this location and hope that the above quotation also doesnt give bad impressions to those who read it. to me the bulls head is and experience and i hope that people can experience the well being themselves. If so...Thankyou for reading =).

In contrast to the above review, I recently visited the Bulls Head and found it to be better than I have ever seen it in years!!The people running it are a charming and friendly family, and have made a huge change to the decor of the pub and restaraunt...and the food is fantastic!I suggest that the above reviewer take another visit to the welcoming pub to see what changes have been made.

Bulls Head, Belper. We have eaten in the Bulls Head for several years now and enjoyed a warm welcome, good atmosphere and excellent food in a clean, warm and attractive pub with a good reputation. 3.1.09. The Bulls Head was hardly recognisable with NO WELCOME AT ALL, NO ATMOSPHERE AND A DIRTY, COLD PUB. The Bulls Head looked like an abandoned building from both outside and in. We were appalled by the state of the pub and the dishevelled appearance of those who appeared to be running it. We would be very surprised if the Bulls Head remains open for another week, if that!
