We have just had a wonderful few days at Backways Farmhouse. We really couldn't fault anything. The room was spacious, so was the shower. Everything was clean and spotless, and the food was excellent. The view from room 1 was beautiful, across the fields and over to the Wellington Monument on the hill opposite. At night the Monument is lit up. Ty & Vanessa were very friendly and helpful hosts and we loved the cats and the rabbit!! The location was very good, quiet, being down the private lane, but not far from the main road, so we didn't feel isolated, and Wellington, a nice small town, was only 5 minutes or so drive down the road. For golfers! We play golf and it was easy to find Oake Manor golf club and Taunton Vale Golf club, both lovely courses, not too far away. We thoroughly enjoyed our short break and we must go back sometime for a longer stay. Recommended to anyone who enjoys the countryside.
