Under new managment since April 2010 and with a brand new face lift and refurbishment, this pub really lives up to it's name. The staff are friendly and cheerful and the pub now has a nice family feel. There are lots of social activities with pool table, darts area, Wii facility, free broadband, as well as multi screens for watching the big sports matches, and regular live entertainment events. The bar food is simple, well prepared and tasty. Truely a friendly, family pub.
