My Wife and I recently called into Harwich and Dovercourt Golf Club before heading onto the boat to see our daughter in Holland and I must say what a pleasent surprise. The course is only a 9 hole course but the fairways and greens were immaculate. Each hole has its own character and the 9th is the hardest par 3 I have ever played. We stayed in the clubhouse for a bite to eat and the members were extremely friendly and welcoming. I would say to anybody that this little gem of a course is well worth a look.
