Friendly, helpful staff. Great facilities; showers, clothes washing & drying etc. Very clean; bins emptied regularly and toilets and showers cleaned daily.
Beautiful scenery and great walks. A great place for some peace and quite. If you want something a bit more lively, its only a 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk to Newcastle town centre (the best of both worlds).

Fabulous greeting at gate lodge by ranger, very helpful, surroundings georgous, loads of foreest and mountain walks, nearby Newcastle for kicks, and facilities good on site. Had a lovely time, and Mourne weather didn't matter!
