No problems at all with this site. Scenery is beautiful. Stayed in a tent for a week last September. Always plenty of free hot water, shower block spotlessly clean. Site manager very helpful and a bit of a comedian. Our two little girls really enjoyed the play area. Bala town is approx 1.5 miles away. Some good pubs and cafes there. Beautiful place to go for walks or just chill out outside the tent. Husband went fishing in the river which runs through the bottom of the site. Already booked for Easter and would recommend this site to anyone

exellent place to stay, friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. The scenery is beautiful and the nearby town of Bala has everything you need. The site itself is very clean and tidy and the toilets and shower block are also of a high standard with plenty of hot water. I will be going back again and can highly recommend it

Spent an amazingly beautiful week at the site. It was in close proximity to the equally beautiful lake and village of Bala. The site is very clean, functional and is quiet despite previous reviews. There is plenty to do in the village as well as the surrounding area. Watersports, hiking, shopping in Portmadog and relaxing by the lake. The owner of the site was welcoming and the site manager was also welcoming and eager to provide information of where to go on days out. The views were amazing, the site and its occupants very amiable and i would consider it a pleasure to return. 5 stars.

Just returned from a great 1 week stay here. A lovely site, well laid out and spotlessly clean. The site is in a natural valley but all pitchess are level. Most of these pitches seemed to have permanently sited vans on them however. The toilet block was always clean and tidy, looks like a new block not long built. There are plenty of water points, There is a huge dog walking field that takes you down to the river dee with bin provided. Our 8 year old loved the play area and made lots of friends, there were a few tears at leaving time! It's located away from most of the pitches but is very safe and we could keep a eye on him from our pitch. All in all a good site that we would use again.
