Had a great time at Aeron coast,we were a large group and stayed a week, apart from being told we had too many Cars between us(some of us bought 2 cars each per tent of 4 people, but we had visitors that came every day and there were no facilites for visitors to park)everyone had a great time. Most of my friends had not stayed there before and we are all looking for a reunion with our families this year as the children have not stopped talking about Aeron coast. Due to the wet weather,we had to wash a lot of clothes and it was time consuming as there weren't enough facilities, this was a minus. However The facilities are excellent and it is a great place to stay.

We have visited Aeron Coast several times in the last year and have alway's been given a warm welcome. The site is on the border of Aberaeron and you can easily walk into the town either by going out the front way and down the road or by gaining access to the beach at the bottom of the site and walking across the seafront which has spectacular views. Most of the site is on the level but a few pitches are on the incline. The facilities are spotless clean and there is a bar, small restaurant, and clubhouse. although the club is only open on certain dates. Dogs are welcome as long as they are kept under control and taken out on a lead, making sure to clean up after them as there are lots of children in busy periods. We are looking forward to many visits this summer our first one being Easter There are lots of places to visit from Aberaeron like Aberystwyth, Llangranog and Cenarth Falls. I hope you enjoy this place as much as we do Good luck

Recently visited the Aeron Coast Holiday Touring/Camping expecting to pay between £11 - £14 per pent per night as advertised on other sites. The price for a pitch was actually £16.50 per night/per tent for two people plus additional adults or child prices which we found on arrival at the camp site. Camping and pitching is located at the far right end of the site. Searcing the internet reveals descriptions of "Our Park is flat with a small incline at the entrance." - This is incorrect. At least one third of the site is on an incline. We were presented with the steepest section to pitch our two family tents which I considered unacceptable (admittedly ours was a last minute booking) It was on an angle of approximately 150 degrees. Unfortunantly we arrived there at 4pm on the day after a 5 hour drive and were not in the mood to start drivng up and down the coast looking for alternative sites with child entertainment, which was the major reason for selecting this in the first place. There is no shop on site but there is a garage at the entrance to the site which was half a mile walk away from where we pitched, and we weren't even the furthest from the entrance. This sold bits and pieces like any other garage. The nearest grocers, chemist, resurant, gift shop and bank was in the village, one mile away from where we pitched. On a good note, The entertainment was OK. Mainly aimed at the 5 to 10 year olds during our stay. They have five play rooms: one with a pool table a(only one cue) and a table footbal machine; one with a pool table (two damaged cues), a japanese video game , juke box and something else; the third room had a table tennis table; fourth room had an air hocky table (18's only) with chairs; the last room was under 5's with a slide a roundabout and climbing frame I think. Swimming pool was well maintained, we saw them checking the temperature and adding the chlorine during our stay. The toilet facilities were excellent and regularly cleaned, but we had to drive to them because they were so far away, difficult for families with small children as was the case with our friends. outdoor leasure facilities are situated at the far end of the site and kept in good condition, you have to book the tennis courts. local attraction information in the reception consisted mainly of south wales attractions. Staff were helpfull. Bar prices were normal and not inflated.

Aeron Coast Caravan site is a lovely family holiday site. The Club welcomes people of all ages and the facilities avaliable such as the 3 outdoor heated swimming pools, tennis courts and the club. This caravan is situated right by the coast and is a fresh site. I would strongly recommend this site for anyone looking for a family holiday in Wales!!!!
