Me and my husband came for a few days break. I had read reviews on other websites and thought this sounded perfect for us! Arrived Wednesday late afternoon, pitched the tent and relaxed! We were one of the last people to arrive as there was already about 9 other tents so we had a nice spot under a tree and near the BBQ stand! Beautiful scenery, and the reception staff are lovely and friendly, always had a smile on their face and willing to help if you have any problems! There is a key needed for the use of showering facilities, toilets + potwash/laundery which is a nightmare if you get up at 2am but perfectly clean and lovely hot showers. There is also a security barrier onto the site which gives great satisfaction that your belongings are safe if you go out and about which is changed on a regular basis. We will most definately be going again and will not go to any other campsite in Whitby/Hawsker. I have nothing bad to say atall so Thanks guys!
