I have spent many weekends on this site in our family caravan. It is truly lovely. The grounds are kept impeccable and there are so many facilities. There are lots of areas nearby to visit and some fantastic restaurants. We plan to camp there with friends this year. Absolutely recommended.

Have spent time at other sites in this area and although this site is not on the coast like some others, the Cakes and Ale more that makes up for this in its facilities and the attention to detail that you find here. It has a nice friendly clubhouse, the Warden is doing a fine job, the pitches are generous the showers and wash facilities are excellent. You don’t have to pay an extra 60p for the pleasure of a very basic shower either, like you do at another site close by on the cliff at Sizewell. I would recommend the Cs and Ale and I will visit again soon.
