My husband and I visited your Tesco store on Thorpe Road in Melton Mowbray on Friday 2nd of July. We were greeted by one of the men who collects the trollies, his name is Simon, he told us that he hd just got back from Cyprus and had to go straight to the managers office for a warning. We asked him what he had done wrong as he told us he was very upset and he said 'Being too polite to the customers.' Tesco should be proud of such a man who works for them and the person who warned him being too polite should take a leaf out of his book. He is friendly and nothing is too much trouble for him. Tesco management should look at the real issues it has ie. Cashiers nattering to each other, eating sweets and coughing without putting their hands over their mouths. Simon should be called back into the mnagers office with an apology and ressure him that he is just what Tesco need, someone kind, friendly and helpful. I shall ask Simon if has received such an apology next week and if he hasn't then i think Head Office should have a very serious word with the manager of Tesco, Thorpe Road, Melton Mowbray. Very Disgruntled and annoyed. Mrs Foster.

Good Points: Our room had clearly been freshly decorated and was very pretty. The owners were very friendly without being intrusive. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. All of the staff were helpful, polite and so pleasant. The overall ambience was relaxed but very efficient. Bad Points: Nothing General Review: The hotel is sited in a fairly remote area of the north west highlands and there are some single track roads en route. It is, however, well signposted and a very warm welcome awaits. The food is spectacularly good. Fresh, local produce well cooked and served. We have rarely enjoyed a holiday more.
