what a lovely, site this is, well kept, new toilets, showers, shop (which was reasonably priced), refurbished club, nice workers. Although we were camping at the top of the hill the views were breath taking ! we were lucky enough to have lovely hot weather so suppose that made a difference. My only complaints were they did,nt serve hot food in the club, as its a mile up hill to the nearest food pub, they would make a small fortune by providing hot food. And you had to pay £2 for a shower which is usually included in the site fee,s. I will definatley stay again when up that way.

WELL WERE DO I START, WENT AWAY WITH MY BOYFRIEND WHICH I DO REGULARLY IN MY TENT. THIS SITE WAS RECOMMENDED BY A FRIEND, IT IS A VERY HILLY SITE AND ONCE YOU GET TO THE TOP I CAN IMAGINE ON A NICE DAY WOULD BE LOVELY. TWENTY MINUTES AFTER WE ARRIVED WE WERE STILL TRYING OUR HARDEST TO PUT UP THE TENT WHICH USUALLY TAKES FIVE MINUTES, THE WIND WAS HORRIFIC OTHER TENTS ON THERE WERE GETTING BLEW ABOUT ALL OVER THE PLACE. THERE WAS NO WAY THE TENT WAS STAYING UP SO AFTER HALF AN HOUR WE GAVE UP AND WENT TO RECEPTION TO EXPLAIN TO FIND OUT THE £16.50 WE HAD JUST PAID WAS NOT REFUNDABLE. THE ANSWER I GOT WAS THE WIND WAS OUT OF THERE CONTROLL SO IF YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF STAY HERE. SO I PAID £16.50 FOR HALF AN HOUR.
