We were booked for two night but only stayed one. Not because they weren't there to let us in (Malcom at number 32 did that), although we had hoped to get info on local eateries. And not because we only got one egg with breakfast. My wife was waiting to ask about Harrogate, but our landlady had lots of information on South Africa (very safe apparently). I wanted to ask for another egg but Barry had stopped cooking to tell us about being mugged in Spain, or was it Turkey? No, it was their friend who was mugged in Turkey and it can't have been Paris because that's their favourite city...it may have been Barcelona, they've been twice, they were a bit vague about Harrogate... lovely room by the way.

Spent two nights at this superb home. We were welcomed very warmly by Barry and Lesley to this immaculate house. Nothing was too much trouble for this lovely couple. The room was superb and beautifully decorated, the bathroom was very well fitted with a power shower and a range of toiletries. Breakfast was a delight, with fresh fruit salads, home made preserves and a full English breakfast- grilled to perfection. What an absolute gem! We hope to return at some time to stay with you again. Many thanks.
