We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mayfair, you couldn't fault the bedrooms, public rooms and facilities. The service in the dining room was first rate, and we appreciated the early breakfast the day we went to Sark. Altho' we liked the lounge area we did feel that it would have been nice to have a quiet lounge, where you could read. We would have no hesitation in booking again!

Having booked through Channel Islands direct who I had requested give me a good hotel with an excellent package, I arrived early Saturday to a very friendly welcome at what immediately struck me as a very clean and comfortable hotel. Booking in was simple fast & freindly and within a few minutes I was settled into my room which was an en-suite Double. Plenty of space, immaculately clean and nicely furnished. Not the most modern of furnishings but all in good order. The Bathroom was spacious and immaculate in design and cleanliness, I was immediately at ease. As most would know your accomadation if faulty can leave a bad taste in your mouth for the rest of a stay in a hotel. There were plenty of facilities all in good order and all in all I thought a well run hotel. I could harp on about the facilities and information but that would be a waste of space, so plentiful facilities and all wonderfully clean and in first class order. The food from its own kitchens was of the highest standards and plentiful, service was crisp and efficient and there was no faults to be found at all. We all are aware that it takes good staff to make your stay comfortable and memorable, there is a questionaire plus a reward system for the most impressive of staff monthly that the hotel chose according to what its customers vote for in the questionaire. Personally I look at the whole make up of staff and how they act as a team, it is the team that makes the hotel a success, and an individual that can destroy the teams and therefore your stay with that team. Well although most contact is with the waiting staff and easily you can be swayed that they are the best and made your stay more memorable, I have to say that all the staff that I had dealings with were wonderfully freindly, professional and helpful to a fault. Rarely had I seen such a wonderful hotel team and my thanks go out to all the staff at the Mayfair hotel for making our stay there so happy, when I return to Jersey I will be staying at that hotel again if I can get a booking there. Just wonderful thank you all. Tim Cassap.

this was our second visit to Jersey and our second stay at the Mayfair, I can safely say you will not find better value. The food is great, the two waiters that have dealt with us (Victor last year Robert this year) are a credit to the hotel. All the facilities are suprrb and the whole atmosphere relaxed. we will definately stop there the next time we visit Jersey and hopefully that wont be too long in the future
