We are regular visitors to the Angel . In our opinion it is the finest restaurant in Carmarthenshire - next to Yr Polyn !!!
The menu is ever changing but it is innovative and always delicious . Service and ambiance is very special .

After a very good meal at this restaurant in October we booked to celebrate my birthday on Saturday. We checked in at the bar, the man serving at the bar responded in monosylables and eventually said 'Do you want a drink then?' After a 25 minute wait while the bar man cut up a lemon, after being asked he eventually took our coats and gave us a menu. All the specials were 'off' apparently because it was a Saturday night, so there was a choice of 6 main courses. Because of the lack of atmosphere and the rudeness of the 'host' we decamped figuring it was unlikely to get better. He made Basil Fawlty look positively welcoming!
