The experience was one of good quality ingredients cooked with care. Had the feeling of healthy food prepared into tasty and affordable dishes. Small intimate restaurant with daytime Deli activity still evident.

A genial welcome, an open fire and excellent food are the order of the day for this wonderful country pub. This is a real family affair, with visitors and locals alike being brought in to the "goings on" in and around Coxwold. A fantastic atmosphere has been created by the family with their hard work and inimitable style contributing to the success of the business - helped along in no small measure by a quartet of canine assistants - Peggy, Lulu, Phoebe and Bramble. GREAT.
