I returned to Hornsea after a long abscence recently. In fact, we bought a static holiday home for our future use. I was really sad to see that Wilburs Market had 'gone'. What I would like to know is WHERE did it go, and when. About 15-20 years ago, my late husband and I 'stood' the market. We met lots of lovely people, customers, and other stall-holders alike. Bill Underwood who owned the market then, was always there to see everything was up and running, ok to serve Hornsea and the seasonal visitors. I am sure he too would be sad to see it now....another amusement arcade!!! Its a sad loss to Hornsea, I feel.

This is not a proper market but a few raggedly car boot stalls.
