The food is excellent, real hearty english food, pheasant, poachers pot and steaks that are huge and tender, it is casual but the service is always friendly but very efficent, a local that I now judge all other food and none come close.

We have been Here many times and the food is Fantastic on every occasion. We particualy recommend the Grilled Seabass and the Famous T-bone steak. The landlord has been serving behind the bar for over 50years now, and an excelent job he has done to keep the traditional feel to this pub. Highly recommended
