We live just over the border in North Staffs. We ADORE Buxton. Yep it's quaint and picant and yep it's a bit set in its ways ... But that's what's so magical about it. It feels like a city would in 1910 lol. It really is a fabulously picturesque place and a wonderful hidden treasue for Charity shop raiding :) We love you Buxton ... Oh and of course to get there you get the pleasure of driving the Cat and seeing the beautiful scenery.

An absolute disgrace compared with the market that existed 20/30 years ago the so called borough council should be ashamed of them selves to let the town get into such a delapidated state it is time that they woke up to the 21st century & left the 19th century behind. Do they know that queen victoria is dead? I do no think so
