Reviews of Charleville Lodge, Dublin

Best rates for a Local Hotel

Very disappointing. The room was tiny with just enough room to walk round the bed. The bathroom was also miniscule with no bath which I would have expected for the price. The worst "feature" was a fire exit door which led directly out of the room and was very draughty in November! There was also a security light outside which stayed on 24 hours and made it very hard to sleep. We complained to the front desk (especially when we checked their internet site and found we has been charged a High Season rate in November!) but it was fruitless. From the response, I don't think customer service ranks to highly at Charleville Lodge.
