well as a critic of food establishments i took the night off and visited the kings head in allendale, i wish i had not done, take the night off i mean, so as the hostess, kate was charming, the food, pork belly starter and gammon main meal was devine, i have seldom tasted such a devine meal for a long time. if this is what is served off the beaten track the thank god for the ability to walk off track. The whole experiance has left me with the desire to return for more.
