The White Horse at Bridge is a warm, friendly traditional English Pub. A rare (these days) good pub atmosphere, with really good real ale and a wonderful Inglenook. Round the other side, The Stables Restaurant, serving excellant meals made by their two chefs. My only problem was that the number that you list is wrong and needs to be changed. The correct number is 01227 830845 - nothing like the number you list!

We found the food to be of exceptional quality, the menu was slightly smaller than usual as it was a set Christmas menu, but there were ample choices for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. All the food was beautifully presented befitting of a high class restaurant. However, the downside was that we had to spend the whole evening in our coats and scarves as the heating is totally inadequate for the room. There were only 2 other tables taken (obviously people were better informed than us) but the other people there also had to sit in coats. requests for the heating to be turned up were ignored. We will not be returning!
