We had booked a table for an after show meal at the Kings. The show actually finished an hour before we anticipated but there was absolutely no fuss about that from the staff. Good start!!We ordered starters and mains and everything arrived piping hot and well presented ,brought by very pleasant lads. Unfortunately on removing the skin from my chicken I could see it was not cooked thoroughly and called over a young man (?a manager--not sure who he was) but we were all so impressed with the way he dealt with it. Apologising he took it straight back to the kitchen where he ordered a fresh dish. The cost of that meal was deducted from our bill and we were given complimentary drinks!An excellent ending!!
We have eaten at the Vaults before and are sure they do not get many complaints(if any)about the food but congratulations to all concerned for the way this was handled. We shall certainly be back.
