A WORD OF WARNING
If you order a sandwich from the bar menu you pay the FULL PRICE whether or not you have the chips.
We stopped for a light lunch on our way to Oxford and ordered a sandwich (which was freshly made and nicely served) but we asked if we could have it without the chips. We were told that we could but were not told that it would cost the same regardless!
£6.00 plus (depending on what filling you have) is a very expensive sandwich.
When my husband complained and asked for a reduction the Chef was sent for. He told us that he only charged 5p for the chips and he would give us a refund of 10p.
We would never stop there again or recommend it to our friends.
