Five of us had lunch, dinner, bed and breakfast at the Dalesman. A round consisting of a pint of lager, a small gin and tonic, and two pints of soda water came to exactly £10.00! That must be £2.00 a pint of water - a bit steep! Whilst some people may jest that soda water drinkers should be penalised, we did give them several hundred pounds of business. If you are going to charge such a price for a soda water from a syphon then you should warn the customer first and give them the option to change their order mmm not impressed!

The food is excellent and very good value. The cottage we stayed in was lovely, clean and well equipped. A slight problem with language translation with one of the foreign staff but would definitely visit again
