main reason for staying at the coledale being in the past was looking for somewhere in the lakes that would take dogs, and this proved to be the best. also stayed there without both dogs and found rooms and meals lovely and a good base for getting about. We have booked again for march and if you require a packed lunch believe me they are huge

Nice country side Inn in beautiful surroundings. Pleasant welcoming staff, nice rooms reasonably laid out. Clean and family friendly. Food very good, generous portions, nicely cooked. 2 nice bars, dining room, residents lounge. Close to Kewick and Western Lakes. Well worth a visit.
