Turned up as a group of 24 wet, cold and hungry sailors and they were brilliant. Squeezed all of us in and served us amazing food at reasonable prices. definately going back!!

My meal was ill-prepared and over priced. HSD (ale) was good.

GREAT PLACE! Loved the atmosphere and bar-staff, really pleasant, and well known by the locals. Enjoyed a few shorts and pints during a the evening, lots of guys singing away! Don't know what the other two reviewers are on about! It was really great (although we didn't eat anything!), were even bought a few drinks by some of the chaps whom were regulars- fab!

Stopped at the Ship Inn for food, like the person above. The minute we walked through the door we were not made to feel welcome, and we received sarcasm and hostility before we even sat down.We didn't bother to order the food, we left our drinks and fled, and I would recommend not to go there, as they obviously aren't bothered how they treat their paying customers.

Don't ever go there. The food was horrible, the landlord and his staff extremly rude and when we dared to complained about the literaly burnt food, refused to give us a full refund, swore at us and asked us to leave.
