Great food, lovely friendly service!
Was really nice to find a good old English pub which serves good tasting food which has cooked properly and not microwaved and that does not have any widescreen tvs showing sports.

We had a horrible experience, we had a waitress who shouted at us, when we queried an item on the bill she also jeered at my husband who has a knee problem when he fell back when trying to get to talk to the manager about her behaviour. She then said she was the managers wife and again embarrassed my husband in front of the bar staff by jeering at the fact he could not get up from his chair. he had not been drinking as he was driving. She also screamed at me. NEVER NEVER have I experienced such rude and uncaring behaviour. What the other customers thought. I might be a srecret shopper. That would wipe the grins off their faces. Disgraceful.
