This was my last night in Scotland after a week's travelling and I thought I was going to be staying in some luxury!!!! I stayed in B&B's all week which were half the price and twice as good.

We have just returned from a three day break at the Craigmonie Hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The food at the hotel was wonderful and lovely presented. The leisure facilities were great. The room we occupied was fine although the decor a wee bit tired. A 10 minute walk took us into the shopping centre. We will certainly be back

We were disappointed in the way we were treated at this hotel. We booked two nights, a Tuesday and a Thursday, with a stay in another town on Wednesday. When we returned for our Thursday room, we were told that we were being moved to another hotel due to "mechanical problems", supposedly a water problem at the hotel. MInutes later, we watched as another party arrived and was checked in. Something fishy was going on, but we accepted a room at another hotel nearby.
I can't recommend the Craigmonie
