As part of my weekly visits 2 St. Albans from London & as an Amewrican I can appreciate all the architecture & history of the UK. My children live with their Mother in St. Albans. I love going there as its very beautiful & historic. I decided 2 finally take my boys 2 see the ruins after reading about them. It was only a stones throw from where they live next 2 the Cathedral. After 1 of our walks,we went. It was amazing! So scenic & picturesque! I bought the book(like a good American)& imagined what it must have been like. I will go back again & contemplate & relax with my kids later. Its worth the trip. I enjoyed explaining 2 them all about it as they listened 2 me transfixed! Well wortjh the(inexpensive)£2!My boys are 2 1/2 & 4 1/2. Thank u 4 your history! Michael
