On arrival the interior was nicely decorated, spacious, and romantically lit. We were brought prawn crackers and sweet chilli dip; lovely! We had to ask if we could order more than once before they actually took our order. Food arrived without too much delay, but accompanied by a number of tiny orange ants. These persisted throughout the meal, resisting all our attempts to remove them. We complained, but the waiting staff did not appear too concerned and nothing was done to either remove the ants or to recompense us for their sharing our table. The food was not at all bad, if bland and rather uninspiring. We had to BEG to be given a bill, after waiting a good 10 minutes and giving pointed looks at passing waiters who studiously ignored us. A shot glass of very aged jelly beans was brought with the bill; a lovely idea but sadly they were inedible. We did not succeed in getting a waiter to take our payment, and had to go up to the bar to request to pay (we were considering walking out). The final insult; they automatically added a 10% tip, which i had to request to reduce to 5% due to the ants and the poor service!
