Another vote for La Torre over Lashmore's! Fresh food, well cooked and a true Italian influence. No more overpriced, preservative laced, bought in boil in the bag. And as for the cheesecake - no words too good for it.

Disagree totally with the opionion that La Torre is second rate compared to Lashmores. I agree that Lashmores was a lovely place to eat but equally La Torre has a lighter feel, less stuffy and authentically Italian.
Sad at the passing of Lashmores but delighted that La Torre looks set to stay!

Why oh why have you sold up? The new restaurant is not a patch on Lashmores.
We finally had a really good place to go to eat and now we are left with somewhere rather mediocre.
Such a shame!!!
