Me and my friends (5 of us in total) visted the Frederick Street restraunt. I have never experienced anything like it. We waited 35 minutes for a table, there was groups coming in behind us and getting seated before us. We did try to book a table during the week before we went and we were told that they only take bookings for 7 or over (even tho there was another group of 5 came in after us with a reserved table) The waiting staff were extreemly rude and saying to us as it is an 'uneven' number we would have to wait!! After waiting the 35 minutes I spoke to the extreemly rude so called Manageress who was not bothered one bit. I pointed out that we had waited 35mins and that people behind us were getting seated before us and she just spoke alot of rubbish! I said my strong words to her and we left.

not impressed with the staffs attitude and service and the lengthy waiting time for serving you and recieving meals especially on a night which they new would have been busy. there was nine in our party and we had a problem with one of our meals it got taken away and was forgot about for 30 mins, chewing gum under the table where one of our party a 2 year old picked it off, waitress was asked to clean it off no apology. Tried to clear away plates as some of us were still attempting to eat the food we were presented with (height of ignorance) and there is the language barrier and the sheer ignorance of staff well what can i say I WILL NEVER BE BACK.

My friend and i are just back from having our dinner at Garfunkels. We have been a few times before and always enjoyed it. Tonight we didn't! We were quickly seated and our order was taken. Our main course was nice but we decided to finish off with a dessert. The restaurant wasn't that busy so we thought we'd manage to order our dessert with ease. However, 30 minutes passed and no-one came near us. I even tried to get attention but they appeared to ignore us. My friend and i decided after 40 minutes not to have the dessert so got up, paid at the bar and hesitantly complained about the service. The manager was not in the slightest bit bothered (possibly because he didn't understand me as all the staff are foreign)as he replied with "oh right". I was more angry at his reaction. We never left a tip which is very unlike us as we always do. I am not the type to complain, infact i nearly chickened out, i just felt let down. I am not writing this to receive vouchers or anything but just to let others know of the poor service at this restaurant.
