General review: EXCELLENT, WILL STAY IN SAME HOTEL WHEN IN SIDMOUTH

Good Points: excellent breakfast, good position with fantastic view.
Bad Points: The lift bounced and did not inspire confidence!
General review: very good even though we were only passing through and only spent a very short time.

Good Points: Hotel position. Pleasantly relaxing. Excellent views.
Bad Points: Somewhat looked run-down in places. On previous stays everything was in excellent condition and the previous owners had more exacting standards and were friendly and welcoming as were the staff.
General review: Would visit again if standards improved and some modernisation carried out.

A lovely shop,and obliging staff,with a wide range of interesting books.
