The staff were pleasant and courteous, but it was obvious that it was a bit of a one-man-band, with the man on reception also cooking the meals and sorting the rooms out. The breakfast was reasonable. The room was large. Unfortunately, that is the end of the good news. I had a pronounced allergic reaction to something in the room. It was bad enough that I didn't want to risk another night there. I was offered an alternative room, but declined. I was warned that as I hadn't given 48 hours notice of cancellation, I would still be charged, but would be contacted prior to any charge. I have just found out from my bank that I have indeed been charged. I have never come across a hotel that treats its customers so despicably. I presume that they would have preferred me to suffer another night. I would strongly recommend anyone to go elsewhere.

SERENDIPITY!!!!!!!! Unbelievebly romantic! This is a delightfull, charming little gem. The suite is beautifull and amazingly spacious. The 4-poster bed is stunning!!(so comfortable that we had a great night sleep!!!!!!!!!!!). Staff gave great service and the food was excellent!! Make sure you book a table!!. We could not have wished for anything more to celebrate our engagement. I will recommend this hotel to everbody and will be back very soon.

Solo business traveller, extremely pleasant and helpful staff and enormous comfortable room.,"small hotel right next to langford vet school where i was attending a conference. the staff were exeptionally helpful and the room very large and comfortable, with a three piece suite and mezzanine level. the bathroom was basic but large and clean. several breakfast options available, including continental breakfast delivered to your room for under £4. check in and out were quick and easy and food was good. If you are not a driver, local public transport is poor and taxis expensive from bristol."
