This hotel is one of the best I have had the pleasure of staying in anywhere in England. The hotel is a castle with very comfortable rooms, an excellent staff, delicious food and wonderful activities. The grounds include a golf course, croquet, pool, billiards and just about everything else one might want during a relaxing evening. It is reasonably close to Gatwick Airport, being approximately a 20 minute drive, depending on the traffic. Overall, if you want a top of the line experience in an historic castle, this is the place to stay.
