My husband took me to the anglers arms for the romance of valentines and wow were we in for a treat. we booked in the railway carriage which was very busy but also very romantic. the lighting and soft music and the dressed table all added to the intimate feeling. the service was very good and very attentive nothing seemed to much trouble and the wine was very good and very well presented. the food stole the show for me, i had the dover sole and my partner had fillet steak both were delicious and presented as if you were in a top resteraunt inlondons west end. thanks to you all for making valentines so special we will see you again very soon. everyone must try but book first as we found out this is a very busy place and no wonder.

I was very impressed with the whole experience, from the second we walked into the bar area we were welcomed by the staff and shown to a table in a bar that has lots of warmth and character. we were offered drinks and menus followed. we ordered and the party I was a part of chatted, it only seemed seconds latter that the food arrived but we had actually waited around 20 minutes. the food was fantastic bar food but it was 5 star restaurant standard. the service was in keeping with the food and I would really reccommend a visit Well done all at The Anglers Arms, Weldon Bridge Great day out
