Best rates for a Local Hotel

The hotel has been taken over by new management and it is sad to see how the service has deteriorated. All Staff and the Owner Manager were rude and unhelpful. Reporting the sick on the balcony and broken shower were not met with appolgise but as if we were being awkward. Flowere left for the bride were not given to her and guests were asked to pay for damages not done by them. All positive reviews were with the previous owner. This hotel is now over rated and I feel and I would not recommend it for other wedding parties.

Good Points: Simple understated elegance of the building and room decor. Excellent menu and attentive service. Bad Points: Road noise due to single glazing. General review: Ask for a quiet room and you'll have a fabulous stay here.

Good Points: The Decor and very close to friends. Friendly staff Bad Points: No bathroom soap in room when arrived, was sorted out immedietely. Minor. General Review: We were very pleased with our stay, was very easy to book online too. We were persuaded by the look of the accomodation[modern] which included breakfast. We also liked the idea of having DVD's available to watch, although we didn't use this facility we would on a longer stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definately stay again.

Good Points: The inn had a modern decor that complemented the history of the building. The food was excellent and the service good. Very friendly and helpful staff and owners. Bad Points: A bit difficult to cross from the car park to the inn as the car park was on the other side of the road on a bend. Not much that could be done about it though! Prices of wine and other drinks a bit on the steep side. General Review: The Swan Inn provides a relaxed and personal place to stay in a much underrated corner of England. Excellent food that was adventurous without being too strange for most palates with a good selection of wines.

this place rocks! beautiful rooms, excellent food and our children were made to feel very welcome which is not what you'd expect from a boutique-style hotel. one of the nicest places i've stayed in a long time.

We had a superb weekend at the Swan Inn and were made to feel incredibly welcome by the owners. Our room was more like something you'd find in a hip hotel than a country Inn which was a welcome surprise. Very stylish. Our meal at the restaurant was delicious. An interesting menu with something for everyone and a well-chosen wine list. I highly recommend a visit to the Swan.

The best hotel in Surrey. The food was excellent and the design of my room was cool - i wasn't expecting a flat screen tv and dvd player from a country Inn. Great for a night or two in the countryside.

I recently had the pleasure of staying over night at The Swan. The rooms are decorated in a contemporary style to a very high standard. My partner and I had an excellent meal (which was served by friendly staff) in the restaurant and where I was spoilt for choice. I would recommend The Swan to anyone and have already booked to go back for dinner again.

The Swan Inn looked great but the food which we had today was very poor. I had the Cheese Souffle which was completely tasteless with a couple of salad leaves, one of which was more compost than salad. My husband had Ham, Egg and Chips - the ham was ready sliced (surely it should have been off the bone for nearly £10.00) and the chips looked like they had come from McDonalds. The restaruant was cold, with no fire. The puddings, however, were nice and the service quick.

I stopped off at the Swan for a cold beer on Sunday afternoon and ended up having the most fantastic lunch with great service from top staff-I will be back.
