had my very first golf lesson today,must admit there is more to this game than you think.dave larvin showed me how to hold the golf club correctly and i am now practising before my next lesson which i am looking forward to.first impresson of clays farm, as i have never been to a golf academy it seems to have every thing you would need to learn to play golf plus a bar.i will keep you informed of my progress as i go along.terry bryan landlord of the black lion inn,bersham nr,wrexham.

A Very warm welcome received by all on arrival. Excellent facilities, including Driving Range, Pro Shop, Bar and restaurant area. Many thanks to everyone for their hospitality, especially Bob in the Pro shop, who was very accommodating, and full marks on the condition of the course. Greens in particular were top drawer.
