Good Points: Friendly staff and local pub (Across the road) was a delight, the locals invited us into their darts game, we were all on first names and a great night was had by all.
Bad Points: can't think of any
General review: very good, would recommend both the hotel and the village without hesitation.

easy to find from a19 york. warm welcome from the owners! the accomadation was well presented, clean, and spacious! beautiful furnature in the largest room (we stayed in the largest room with the en suite bath).
breakfast was delicious, cerial, toast and full english.
the only fault found was the double bed which desperately needs sorting as it squeeked and wobbled all night.
whilst there do visit the black horse pub over the road. dont be put off by the decor,the food is fabulous and well worth the money!
