Disappointing visit. Would have been more acceptable had the price reflected the experience. We feel we paid over the odds (£80 total) for something very average. Good points: Bedroom and bathroom was very clean and lovely bed. Allows dogs. Negatives: Fridge in room not working, owner knew this on arrival and made no effort to rectify the situation, I think because we are a young couple ( in our twenties) they thought they could make little effort to keep us happy!!!! there was very little ambience, particularly at breakfast and the breakfast itself was extremely disappointing. For example croissants/pastries, local yoghurt etc that was detailed on the menu was nowhere to be seen. The yoghurts served were 'Happy Shopper' with a 39p on the pot!!!cheap! hardly local produce!!! A lot of the advertised breakfast items were not offered. In comparison to other bed and breakfasts we have stayed at this did not offer value for money. We stayed off season and there were no other guests, whether this had anything to do with it I dont know but quite frankly regardless of season if you advertise yourself as something you should live up to it. We will not be returning. One more point- its not that close to Solva!!!
